II Mikami Cup

The II Mikami Cup is open to all Go levels and to all nationalities. Participation will be registered in EGD as a Class C tournament.

Registration is subject to capacity limitations.

• Mc-Mahon system, 6 rounds
• Japanese rules (rules)
• Time: 25 minutes per player, plus Canadian byo-yomi (20 stones in 5 minutes). With digital clocks, players will have 3 periods of 20 seconds each.
• Komi: 6.5

All players must pay before the due date in order to get the discount. In the case of special rates for minors and the legally unemployed, the same day of the tournament they must provide the necessary documentation proving the application of the rate. Payment can be made by bank transfer.

DUE TO THE TOURNAMENT SITE CAPACITY, PREREGISTRATION DOES NOT ENSURE YOUR PARTICIPATION IN THE TOURNAMENT. PLEASE CONTACT THE ORGANIZERS IF YOU WANT TO PARTICIPATE. Remember you have to be at the playing premises the day the tournament starts in order to participate.

• Tournament winner: 50 €
• Second best: 100% discount on the registration fee for the I Malasaña Tournament
• Third best: 50% discount on the registration fee for the I Malasaña Tournament
• Go book for best player of each category (to be defined level limits of categories) with at least 4 wins under bar

There are many accommodation options for different budgets. We recommend central areas such as Callao, Sol, Plaza de Espana or Argüelles because of their easy connection to the venue.
