The I Malasaña Tournament is a class C tournament opened to everyone. It will be held the 25 and 26 of March 2023.
Format
Tournament Format
The I Malasaña Tournament is open to all Go levels and to all nationalities. Participation will be registered in EGD as a Class C tournament.
Registration is subject to capacity limitations.
- Mc-Mahon system, 10 rounds
- Even games
- Japanese rules (rules)
- Time: 25 minutes per player, plus Canadian byo-yomi (20 stones in 5 minutes). With digital clocks, players will have 3 periods of 20 seconds each.
- Komi: 6.5
Registration
Inscription
All players must pay before the due date in order to get the discount. In the case of special rates for minors and the legally unemployed, the same day of the tournament they must provide the necessary documentation proving the application of the rate. Payment can be made by bank transfer.

- Third best: 100% discount on the registration fee for the XXIV Madrid Open Tournament

- Go book for best player of each category (to be defined level limits of categories) with at least 8 wins under bar
