XXIV Madrid Open Tournament
The XXIV Madrid Open is a class A tournament open to any player who wishes to participate. It is valid for the Spanish Championship and qualifier for the Korea Prime Minister Cup. It will take place on 6 and 7 May 2023.

Tournament Format
The XXIV Madrid Open is a tournament open to all levels of go and to all Spanish and foreign players who wish to register. It is valid for the Spanish Championship and qualifier for the Korea Prime Minister Cup. Your participation will be registered in EGD as a class A tournament.
Registration is subject to capacity limitations.
- Mc-Mahon system, 5 rounds
- Even games
- Japanese rules (rules)
- Time: 60 minutes per player, plus Canadian byo-yomi (20 stones in 5 minutes). With digital clocks, players will have 3 periods of 20 seconds each.
- Komi: 6.5
Registration
Inscription
All players must pay before the due date in order to get the discount. In the case of special rates for minors and the legally unemployed, the same day of the tournament they must provide the necessary documentation proving the application of the rate. Payment can be made by bank transfer.

- Go book for best player of each category (to be defined level limits of categories) with at least 4 wins under bar
